OVERVIEW

The Professional Learning Academy coordinates and implements the school-wide professional development plan to support teaching excellence and enhance student learning in RGS.

Helmed by the Head of Professional Development, the Professional Learning Academy comprises the school’s Senior Teachers and Lead Teacher(s) from the various departments. Through their collective pedagogical content knowledge and classroom experiences, they develop specific course offerings and conduct the Induction Programme as well as workshops and clinics. These training provisions are aligned to the school’s strategic plan and reflect evidence-backed best practices in professional development.
